There is no better feeling than fresh clear skin and I wanted to share with you all my most favorite cleansing regime. I started cleansing early age 12 and I was massively into beauty even then, my mum would always buy me endless beauty books that I would read most nights learning the ‘tricks of the trade.’ Your skin changes so much over the years so it is sometimes difficult finding the best products that suit your skin type.
I can however certainly recommend these products for normal/dry skin, which mine is.
Step 1 : Cleanse
Remove all makeup; I do this with facial wipes, currently using Clean & Clear truly gentle. I use this all over my face and neck to remove the first layer then I apply Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and wipe face and neck area once again until all make up is removed.
Exfoliation : I love Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Exfoliating facial scrub. It smells so fresh and really does cleanse whilst remover any dry skin. It isn’t harsh on the skin and leaves it feeling really soft. I exfoliate in the morning as the skin repairs itself at night so exfoliating in the morning removes any dead skin cells. I do this 2-3 each week; they do say 1-2 times however please judge if you feel 2-3 is too much on your skin I would revert back to 1-2 times.
Cleanse : For the other days I have just started using Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. This really does leave your skin feeling ultra smooth. I love it; you smooth onto dry skin over the face and neck area then with then polish off with the pure muslin cloth. Your skin is honestly left radiant.
Step 2 : Tone
This will finally remove any dirt, if there is any left. I use a cotton pad with Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Cleansing and Toning lotion. This step will leave your skin squeaky clean.
Step 3 : I’m going to talk a little more
And there you go … fresh clean skin you won’t actually want to apply any make up as you will feel so ..well …fresh…perhaps leave the make up part for 5-10 minutes after the next stage of moisturising and enjoy your beautiful bare skin.
My next blog I will show you my absolute moisturising faves.
I hope you like, as you see my products aren’t overly expensive but honestly guys it works so well. Affordable beauty….that’s what we like.
